Mosaics are made using stained glass, but unlike other types of glass pieces, the glass is glued to a substrate. As a result, the light doesn’t show through this type of art like you might expect.

Andamento is a term used to describe the pattern created by the arrangement of the pieces. For instance, in the Dolphins logo at the left, I thought about the shapes that I was cutting to create the circle shape.

This is in contrast to the Packers logo below. The glass pieces are cut randomly in this one.
